The study day aims to provide instruction on performing and reporting carotid Doppler ultrasound examinations.
After the course participants will be able to:
- understand when carotid Doppler US is indicated, its strengths and limitations
- have a basic knowledge how to practically perform a carotid Doppler US
- recognise presence of surgically significant carotid stenosis and how to grade and communicate the findings in a report
